London and Los Angeles based interior design studio Fettle designed The Draycott; a European-inspired brasserie with a beautiful Californian twist. Located in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, the flagship restaurant, evokes a sense of nostalgia of a grand European brasserie mixed with a vibrant and mesmerizing color palette scheme that has been inspired by its Californian location. With impressive decor inside and out, The Draycott is one of the best Los Angeles restaurants of the moment!
The Draycott’s single piece of contract furniture in the restaurant has been custom designed by Fettle, ensuring it matches the exact vision and use for the interior. Signature designs include the marble-topped bar in the heart the space with surrounding elements of the interior being symmetrically positioned to create high visual impact with a strong sense of uniformity and organization.
The whimsical dining chairs used throughout the restaurant take their inspiration from the traditional brasserie chair, enhanced and customized by its rich tan leather upholstery with added arm pads and stud-work detail.
To create a unique and wonderful Californian ambience throughout, the interior design studio chooses a restaurant colour scheme to stand-out design details to include the coral-coloured coffered pink ceiling with detailed cornice-work that sits alongside beautiful leather upholstery in mustard and opulent green tones.

The studio pairs multiple textures and finishes together, often in a two-tone style to add depth and character to furniture designs. An example of this is the bar stools with backs. The seat of the stool is upholstered in leather, providing a subtle reflection of light while the back pad uses mohair in a similar hue. The matte finish of the mohair creates an elegant yet soft contrast to complete the design.
Featuring two large gold frame French mirrors and vintage glass chandeliers, The Queen’s Room is a private dining experience that can seat for up to 26 individuals. Salmon pink drapery adorns the interior’s large windows that allow natural light to flood the private dining space. Golden hues of the upholstery, accessories, and lighting encapsulate fine dining and grandeur on an intimate scale, away from the buzz of the main restaurant and bar.
The terrace embraces the impressive Californian weather, providing a space for guests to wine and dine outside all year round, with a landscape looking to Palisades Village Park, the garden contains all the comforts of the central restaurant interior, from the upholstered booth seating to the brass pendant lighting.
Fettle’s ability to combine a luxury interior decor with a modern taste, have set the bar high, creating a style-conscious dining destination where its guests immediately feel at home. The beautiful restaurant color pallets and attention to the smallest of details showcase the restaurant’s ability to provide more than a service but an entire experience.
